I was born and raised in a small rural community called Walden, in the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, I spent much of my time on my grandmother’s farm. Not realizing even then how much of an effect natural simplicity would impact and reflect through me later in life. I am grateful for those simple pleasures and quite moments. I have spent many moments peacefully observing nature, going for meandering walks through the forests and fields, interacting with animals, and remembering many surprising and sometimes even startling events. I remember being so close to the earth that I could smell its musty element, lying down on warm sunny summer afternoons watching the clouds roll by.

Believing all things are created by one true God by great design, I understand life better by his works of creation. Great and magnificent creations always seem to express themselves through adversity, much like the birth of all things, expressing life through change and struggle, only to project unspeakable beauty, and profound wonder which commands a deep respect. I believe a respectable work of art should carry these same attributes to be effective and to have a great impact on an individual. I only hope that the way I interpret a piece has a similar effect on the viewer.
